 Each school holidays, the Alpine Ice Skate School offers Learn-to-Skate holiday programs for tiny tots, children and adults alike; run by qualified N.Z. and International coaches.
Our holiday classes provide skaters with the opportunity to "experience the ice" and learn basic skills for recreational skating or to progress in to term classes. Lessons are aimed at encouraging future participation in figure, synchronised, ice hockey or speed skating. Classes are held from 9.00 - 9.45 a.m. Monday - Friday. Classes do not run during public holidays. Skaters can even skate on during the 10 - 12 noon public session to practice their new skills at a reduced rate! Advance bookings for these popular holiday programs are essential and skaters are advised to book no later than a week prior to the end of the preceding school term.
